Improving Nitrogen Use Efficiency for Cereal Production  Agron. J. 91:357-363 (pdf)

Objectives:  To document cereal N use efficiency in SSA, and to delineate potential needs for improving NUE and production.

Issues:  Climatic regions, NUE in the 10 poorest, versus rest of SSA. Only inorganic versus organic?

"discuss organic N additions" that would not be included in our computations.
